International food ingredients exhibition in Moscow, Russia

  Annual exhibition held in Moscow, the Russian food INGREDIENTS INGREDIENTS RUSSIA is sponsored by the British ITEGroupPLC company, the exhibition held since 1998, has held the 21 consecutive terms, is RUSSIA's influential professional exhibition of food INGREDIENTS and additives, radiation throughout the former Soviet union. The 2018 exhibition covers a total area of 3,520 square meters, with 159 exhibitors from 12 countries participating. The four-day exhibition attracted 5620 visitors from Moscow, st. Petersburg, kaliningrad, kazan and other Russian cities, as well as food producers from 62 former Soviet countries such as kazakhstan, Ukraine and belarus. More than 92 percent of the audience were professionals, up 6 percent from a year earlier.

  The 2019 show will continue at the Crocus exhibition center, which is larger and more popular than the dairy/meat show. Meanwhile, the sanctions and counter-sanctions between Russia and the us and Europe will also bring opportunities for Chinese enterprises to sell in the market. In the food sector, Russia has banned imports of fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, milk and dairy products from the United States, Europe, Australia, Canada and Norway. It is a very opportune time to seize this opportunity and enter the Russian market.


  Russia has proven to be an attractive market for food ingredient companies, both in terms of size and direction of development. Russia's imports reached $229 billion in 2010, up 36.8% from 2009. Imports of food and food production raw materials increased 15.3 percent, compared with 17.5 percent in 2009 and 15.5 percent in 2009.

  Currently, about 90 percent of the additives on the Russian market are imported from abroad, mainly from Denmark, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the import of finished products of various additives is increasing, and many companies are trying to gain a bigger market share by setting up factories in Russia. Reports in recent years suggest that sales in the food and beverage industry have been stagnant in Western Europe, prompting many companies to look to the growing markets of central and eastern Europe.
